Helen Brown our Sales and Marketing Manager, is a creature of habit, she can be found in one of two places either eating junk food or buying things. We sit down with her to find out if there's more that meets the eye.
What’s your job role?
My job roles varies each day from helping the sales team with on going projects to working with the Marketing Team planning strategy and working out our next step forward.
Whats your favourite food?
Anything that is bad for you! Cheese, Crisps, energy drinks and my favourite, a weekly curry..always at Viraj in Woodseats! For starters, I'll get a shish kebab, 4 poppadoms and a pickle tray with extra mint sauce. For mains it has to be a chicken korma and a garlic naan. Dessert is a Strongbow Dark Fruit at Wetherspoons, or as it's locally known, Woodseats Palace!
What’s your favourite object?
My Marc Jacobs bag, my Piano and my MacBook.
Top 3 pieces of stationery?
Kate Spade Desk Organiser, My Stabilo Rainbow Highlighters and my Filofax. If I'm in a shop and I see a notebook or pen I don't own, I've got to have it.
What’s your favourite thing to do at work?
Obviously I love thinking up new and fresh ideas to push the company forward, if that be products, procedures or how we look as a company. I’ll be honest however, I do love organising and I’m known for my love of laminating everything in sight.
Where’s your favourite place to go?
I’m not sure its my favourite place but I’m a creature of habit and each weekend I can be found in Woodseats, Sheffield eating and drinking my favourite food – Curry! My favourite place is London and try to go at least once a month for the day, for shopping and drinks.
Favourite holiday destination?
I’m not sure I have a favourite but the last two holidays were a Hen Do and a Wedding for my good friend Hollie and were in Ibiza and Greece. These were such good holidays, I’d say my favourite holiday destination is whichever one I go to with my mates!
What do you like to do at the weekend?
I’ll be honest, I do as little as possible at weekends. Most of the time catching up with TV, days out to London and nights out in my regular spot!
Favourite movie and why?
The Usual Suspects as its just so imaginative the way he makes up the whole thing from items on a pin board!
Biggest celebrity crush?
Tom Cruise. Not even embarrassed.
What’s the best 50 quid you ever spent?
It was more than £50 but the thing that comes to mind was a great fillet steak at the First Dates Restaurant in London.
Where you do see yourself in 10 years?
I never know how to answer this question but wherever I am I’m hoping it will still be in a creative place and no doubt I will still be eating just as badly!
