Enviroment

In our Sheffield print factory, our focus is on minimising our environmental impact. We print exclusively on 100% natural materials using ISO 14001 certified inks. We have policies and procedures in place to ensure that we do not use an excessive amount of ink when doing our print jobs and we responsibly recycle our water based inks when they reach the end of their lifecycle. Our sustainable commitment has always extended beyond the day to day practises of working with clients and international partners, as we always strive to improve and innovate.

People

At BIDBI people are at the heart of everything we do. We believe in fair wages, safe working conditions and a positive working envirornment where our people can perform at their best. As SEDEX members, we ensure our supply chain is reviewed regularly and operates ethically both abroad and in the UK. These principles of business are what make up our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) policy.

Education

Through regular training and support, we nurture our existing staff members and their career development. It is part of our mission to ensure our staff are continuously growing in their area, learning from each other and delivering the best work possible. Our Sheffield production team cross train, mentor one another and all contribute to the BIDBI culture of sharing knowledge and improving. Our people keep up to date with the latest industry news and interesting pieces that make them excited to do their best every day.

Act as ambassadors for environmental sustainability, continuously setting and achieving our envirornmental objectives to benefit our industry and the planet.

As a Zero Waste to Landfill business, we prioritise the reduction of waste, followed by re-use, recycling and where there is no alternative, energy recovery.

Raise awareness, encourage participation and train employees in best practices by maintaining awareness of legislative changes and update via the Ethical Trading Initiative.

Encourage employees to use sustainable transport options, when heading into the office or on any business travel.

Work with suppliers who share our commitment to efficient environmental management.

Educate our customers on the environmental benefits of using our products.

Reduce the environmental impact of our shipped orders by transporting them to the factory using sustainable transport options and consolidating orders.

Actively promote recycling both internally and amongst its customers and suppliers.

Reduce raw materials waste in the factory and office.

Ethical

We strictly condemn illegal child labour, forced labour and discrimination. We do not engage with any supplier, factory or business that engages in such discriminatory practices.
