Last week BIDBI attended the Farm Shop & Deli Show at the NEC in Birmingham, and what a time we had! It was our first time at the show, and after the amazing response we received it definitely won’t be our last.

We went for a rustic, farm shop inspired stand, decorated with a selection of our off-the-shelf UK printed bags and our bespoke bags. For the first time as well, we had a television showcasing our manufacturing process in our Sheffield-based factory – something that really caught people’s eyes!

The atmosphere at the show was fun and friendly, with plenty of complimentary food and drink samples everywhere you looked! We received a great response from some of our trial products, including the denim apron which I predict will become a best seller in no time. It was great to see how many people appreciate the use of cotton and canvas tote bags, and are shying away from the use of plastic bags. For BIDBI, it’s a great feeling to see the excitement on a potential customers face when they start envisioning their logo or artwork printed on our bags.

It was great to see some of our existing customers at the show too, including Rude Health, who ended up giving away their own BIDBI tote bag to a show visitor who loved it that much!

All in all, the Farm Shop & Deli Show was a fabulous experience for BIDBI, that generated a wealth of interest. We are only just getting through the piles of enquiry forms, and not to mention the free food samples we got too!
